The Bill of Rights under the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 gives everyone the right to privacy, which includes the right not to have the privacy of their communications infringed. The Protection of Personal Information Act 2013 (“POPIA”) gives effect to the constitutional right to privacy.
In compliance with POPIA, Juicy Odds (Pty) (Ltd) (“Juicy Odds”, “We”, “Our”) wishes to inform its users of the way it processes their Personal Information in this privacy policy. Juicy Odds is a company registered in South Africa with registered company number 2022/785773/07 and registered at office 35 Fish Eagle Avenue, Arabella Country Estate, Kleinmond, 7195.
1.1. Juicy Odds is the responsible party that determines the purpose of and means for processing personal information.
1.2. Juicy Odds is not a bookmaker. We are a marketing service and information provider (“Services”). The principal online site owned by JuicyOdds, namely https://juicyodds.com (“Site”) does not accept wagers or trades directly. Rather, we provide users with betting and trading related information and connections to betting and trading operators who in turn accept wagers and trades (“Betting Partners”).
2.1. Registered and unregistered members (“Users”) accessing the Site.

Please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for these policies. 6.1. We reserve the right to process your personal information for a variety of reasons each of which is prescribed by relevant data laws.
6.2. We request your consent to market to you when you first create an account with us, you can choose not to receive marketing/promotional material at any time. By opting out or denying such consent has no influence on the registration of an account.
6.3. If you have opted out of marketing communication, we will take adequate measures so that you do not receive any further marketing communication. 8.1. Cookies are text files with small pieces of data that are used to identify your computer as you use a computer network. Specific cookies known as HTTP cookies are used to identify specific users and improve your web browsing experience. Data stored in a cookie is created by the server upon your connection. This data is labelled with an ID unique to you and your computer. You accept the inherent security implications of using the internet and Juicy Odds will accept no liability for any direct, consequential, incidental, indirect, or punitive losses or damages arising out of such an occurrence.
10.4. The data we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside of the Republic of South Africa. It may also be processed by staff operating outside South Africa who work for the Company or for one of our suppliers.
10.5. We will not keep your personal information longer than we need to unless we are legally required to do so. We take legal requirements, contractual obligations and the expectations and requirements of our customers into account when we determine how long we should retain information. When we no longer need your personal information we will securely delete or destroy it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) requirements.
